Fantastici regali di Maria ed Irina... e scatole aperte!

6 mesi dopo il trasloco... ho finalmente aperto i due scatoloni con la scritta "DH"!!!
Effettivamente 6 mesi sono tanti ma, facendo un lavoro principalmente stagionale (in un bellissimo agriturismo in Toscana), da aprile a settembre c'è ben poco tempo per sistemare gli scatoloni. 
Per adesso non ho ancora messo in ordine le mie mini e i miei attrezzi del mestiere, ma intanto sono usciti dai cartoni :-) è un buon inizio!

E nel frattempo ho avuto la gran fortuna di vincere due fantastici regali:

- il meraviglioso primo premio del giveaway di Irina

 - uno dei bellissimi premi di Maria

Six months after moving in the new house I finally opened the two boxes marked "DH" !!!

I know that six months are too much, but I'm actually working mainly seasonal (in a beautiful farmhouse in Tuscany). Therefore there's no free time for boxes from April to September.

I still have not sorted out my mini and my tools of the trade, but in the meantime they have come out of cartons:-) That'a a good beginning.

In the meantime I was so lucky to win two amazing giveaway prizes:

- the wonderful 1st prize of Irina
- one of the beautiful prizes of Maria

è un traguardo davvero enorme per il mio blog, dove i posts sono pochi e anche vecchi :-)
Nei buoni propositi per il 2014 c'è anche quello di seguire di più il blog: spero proprio di riuscirci!

E adesso ci vorrebbe proprio un giveaway! Ma dovrete avere un po' di pazienza: sono in fase di trasloco e le mie energie e il mio tempo libero sono completamente dedicati a questo.

Back on blog - Thanks Audra!

Dopo un mese di assenza, finalmente riesco a scrivere di nuovo sul blog.
Con l'inizio del nuovo anno ho avuto molte cose da fare nella vita reale (colloqui di lavoro, corsi di formazione, studio per concorsi... per adesso aspetto risposte e incrocio le dita) e così ho trascurato moltissimo le minis e la Casa Country, che è stata presa d'assalto da Rocky!

Un paio di giorni fa ho trovato una fantastica sorpresa nella posta: un pacchettino nero da parte di Audra!
Avevo ormai perso le speranze, pensando che le Poste lo avessero perso. Ed invece è arrivato! :-)
Oltre al meraviglioso gatto, Audra mi ha mandato dei fiori in plastica da dipingere e delle utilissime stoffe (sono sempre in cerca di stoffe per i miei mini cuscini e qui è difficile trovarle). Grazie!!!

Infine non sto più nella pelle perché questo weekend sarò a Milano per la mia prima gita a Miniaturitalia!!! Non vedo l'ora! Putroppo soldini non ce ne sono, ma sono sicura che la fiera mi piacere comunque tanto.

I'm back on my blog, after one month of absence.
New year brought many things to do with me (job interviews, courses, study... now I'm waiting for answers and crossing my fingers!) so I had no time for minis and my Country House. Rocky took advantage of the situation and attacked the house!

A couple of days ago I found a great surprise in my mailbox: a black parcel from Audra!
I supposed the postal service had lost my parcel and by now I had lost hope. But the parcel arrived safe! :-)
Audra sent me the wonderful ginger car, some plastic flowers to paint and two useful fabrics (I always look for fabrics for my mini pillows and they're hard to find). Thanks so much!!!

Last but not least, I can't wait for next weekend: my first trip to Miniaturitalia !!!
I've no money (so I can buy nothing) but I'm sure I will enjoy the fair as well.

Casa Country: Ready

Finalmente ci siamo!
La Casa Country è pronta!
O meglio, la sua struttura principale è pronta. Completato il tetto ed attaccata la facciata, non manca proprio niente!
In realtà mancano molti piccoli dettagli, ma sono proprio contenta di poter iniziare ad arredare e decorare la Casa Country prima di Natale :-)

It's better to say: the main structure is ready. Once the roof was completed and the facade was fastened, nothing is missing!
Actually many details are missing, but I'm very happy to start furnishig and decoratind the Casa Country before Christmas :-)

Tutte le luci sono pronte e perfettamente funzionanti!
Devo confessare che l'elettricista è il mio fidanzato Matteo, che ha fatto proprio un bel lavoro!
(A dire il vero tutta la Casa Country è un lavoro a 4 mani ... )

Abbiamo anche iniziato a ricoprire il tetto con le tegole: adesso sembra proprio un vero tetto!

I must confess that the electrician is my boyfriend Matteo and he's done a good work.
(Actually all the Casa Country is made by 4 hands ...)

We started to cover the roof with the tiles too: now it looks like a real roof!

Casa Country - Let's light the fire!

In ogni casa di campagna che si rispetti c'è un elemento che non può mancare: il caminetto!
E così, nonostante le modifiche strutturali (inserimento della scala), anche nella Casa Country siamo riusciti a trovare il posto per il caminetto.

Sbirciando dalla finestra, si riesce a vedere addirittura il fuoco del caminetto! 

 

E questa è la vista globale della stanza con il fuoco accesso.

There's an element that every country house must have: the fireplace!
Althought the structural modifications (staircase) even the Casa Country has its fireplace!
Looking through the window, you can see the fire!
And then you have the full image of the room with the fire on.
